200 days later…

So it’s been almost 200 days since I last posted…I’d ask you not to throw rocks, but I’m not sure how many people are left reading this blog. I had thought about writing a “blog hiatus” post, but it turns out that I was too lazy for even that.

But I’d been pondering blogging again over the past few weeks and then my good friend Mike (who does The Sounds of Douchebag America and So Fucking Metal (NSFW)) bought me my own domain name for my birthday. Which it turns out, is all it took. So I’m back.

And here’s some of what I should have been blogging about during the last 200 days:

- Facebook patented the news feed. Legal issues will probably abound.

- Twitter revealed that they’re seeing 50 million tweets per day. That’s 600 tweets per second.

- Google launched Buzz. People were not huge fans.

- MySpace bought iMeem. Fans were not pleased.

- VivaKi revealed the best ad model for online video. It’s Hulu’s ‘Ad Selector’.

Anyhow, that’s it for now. Coming up: why I secretly love Google Buzz.
